What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address or birthday. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

- To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
Tock Policy
The term "tocks" and "tock" refer to the events and meta information users submit to the service using the "Start a New Tock" or the developer API.
Public tocks you submit are visible to everyone else, including non-logged in users, and are subject to moderation by administrators. They are also subject to community voting based moderation.
Private tocks are only visible to yourself and are not subject to moderation by site administrators.
Public and private tocks remain the property and the responsibility of the submitter and must adhere to our terms of use.
You may self-moderate your tocks to remove them or set them private at any time.
TickTocker also stores data on "Tocks You Are Watching", tocks you have voted up and down, and tocks you have commented on. "Tocks You Are Watching" refers to when a user clicks the 'Watch Tock' button.
Facebook Policy
If you link your facebook account, TickTocker will use your real name from Facebook, your facebook profile picture and your facebook profile URL. You always have the option to change your stored real name in your user settings.
In addition, TickTocker may post links to your wall and/or calendar. You may opt-out of this functionality.
Opt-out Information
TickTocker will email you when someone new follows you or when someone comments on one of your tocks. You have the option to opt-out of this functionality in your user preferences.
Your email address is searchable in the database but is never shown to anyone. We do not share your email address with anyone else and it is only displayed on your profile screen. You have the ability to opt-out of allowing users to find you by your email through TickTocker's built-in search engine in the settings screen.
Your real name is searchable in the TickTocker built-in search engine. You may opt-out of this functionality in the settings screen.
Your Birthday
Your birthday may be used to filter adult themed tocks if you are under the age of 17. It is also used to create a private tock upon account creation. TickTocker disallows the creation of accounts by those younger than 13.
